John Robbins and Chris Parsons came together in 2010 to form Run DMT and have been dominating the Texas electronic scene ever since. Friday, the Austin based duo unleashed Bassnectar’s remix of their previously unreleased banger, “Sugarcube.”
Bassheads worldwide have been waiting for this one to…. Ummm DROP! The track was posted to Run DMT’s YouTube account almost a year ago, and has recently been made popular by Bassnectar, who included it in his set at North Coast Music Festival (Chicago, IL), Bass Center III (San Francisco, CA), Halloween (Dallas, TX), Snowball Music Festival (Avon, CO), and Big Day Out (Gold Coast, Queensland) to name a few. The mix master usually places the eerie dubstep number between “Hardcore Hip Hop” and “Do You Like Bass?” creating a seriously wicked combination of filth.
The track is available for free download through Run DMT’s facebook page along with a VIP version of their drum and bass tune “Are We Having Fun Yet.”
